![]() Besides the obvious half/double tempo there are cases especially with tracks that their timing signature is not 4/4 (like 9/8 for instance) where the BPM engine detects a wrong tempo. However there are times that the BPM analyzing engine will not detect the correct tempo. Most of the times all DJ softwares will detect the BPM correctly. You can fix the phase by the "EDIT BPM" window 4) The BPM has not been detected correctly. 3) The track has constant tempo but it's phase is not detected 100% accurate. ![]() That's common for older tracks where a real person (drummer) was responsible to keep the tempo 2) The track has constant tempo but it has tempo variations made on purpose. Instead of bashing the user you can always teach him what's going wrong with his tools: 1) The track has not a constant tempo.
